At Skatechurch, we have a strong commitment to reading,
understanding, and communicating the message of the Bible. The Bible is the
inspired words of the true and living God, our Creator. It is the primary
means by which God reveals himself to us and communicates with us. It tells
us how to experience life the way God always intended, meaningful and
satisfying. It gives us wise counsel and direction. Most importantly, the
Bible explains how we can find forgiveness for our wrongdoing, and eternal
life with God through the saving work of Jesus Christ.
It's true that the more you read the Bible, the better you will come to understand
our amazing Creator. It's also true that the more you read the Bible and apply it,
the more empowered you'll be to live for God is this fallen world. Check out the
link below and choose a Bible reading plan that is managable for you. You'll
quickly realize that trying to read through the Bible isn't as overwhelming and
difficult as you may have thought.
